Sea LCL is available from selected Chinese origins and is designed for shipments that do not require a full ocean container. The quotation uses the applicable LCL sea rate and chargeable shipment quantity.
LCL Shipping from China to Germany

How LCL freight is calculated
For supported Sea LCL and Rail LCL services, fba.solutions compares the shipment's actual volume with its weight-based volume. The chargeable volume is the greater of actual CBM or weight in kg ÷ 1,000. A minimum of 1 CBM applies to the LCL freight calculation.
Example: A shipment with 3.0 CBM and 1,500 kg is charged on 3.0 CBM. A shipment with 1.0 CBM and 1,800 kg is charged on 1.8 CBM.

LCL delivery in Germany
For Sea LCL and Rail LCL, customers can select FBA/FBM by zovis GmbH or another destination. When another German destination is entered, the quotation workflow can calculate the applicable on-carriage from the configured LCL handling point.
Customs clearance and shipment documents
Customs clearance can be included in the quotation. After booking, customers can upload shipping documents and complete customs data through their secure shipment link. This connects the LCL freight calculation with the operational information required for the shipment.
